By 1979, I had too many other things going on to keep connected to comics. But this really wonderful page by the Schaffenberger-Abel team featured Robin defeating the pre-costume SCARECROW by...drawing to his fear. Unlike comics of today, the stories and art styles were so much more simple. Yet still fabulous story telling.

Of course, I always think of Schaffenberger as doing art for Superman and Shazam. So it was a real treat getting this piece by him from my buddy Ryan. (Mucho gracias, amigo)
