DescriptionAmong my all-time favorite non-comics science fiction stories is "'Repent, Harlequin!' Said the Ticktockman" by the late, great Harlan Ellison. I've long wanted to commission a Common Elements tribute to this classic tale featuring comics' own Harlequin (a.k.a. Harley Quinn) and Ticktockman (Hourman, a.k.a. Rex "Tick-Tock" Tyler). There was only one artist I could envision doing it, and that was Aaron Lopresti. Finally, after many years, the stars aligned and Aaron accepted the project. And of course, I was absolutely right to wait for him to draw it. This is Common Elements #169. Social/Sharing |

Wonderful piece. Thank you for sharing. My question is what would bring them together.
