Simply put, a collector dream come true :)
I'm so thrilled to finally own a piece by this Italian master and I have to thank again the always kind and professional Claudia at segnidisegni.net for this beauty!
This large eye-catching illustration, which dates back from the late '60s/early '70s, was done as an advertisement for the eponymous music event/competition that was held every year in Italy to elect the best record of the summer.
I'm not sure if it has been actually published (any info would be greatly appreciated), but it's part of a series of images drawn by the master for the same purpose (you can see some of them by looking at additional images).
Anyway, a great example of Crepax' art and style from one of his best periods!
And, moreover, this cool fashion girl definitely reminds me of his famous Valentina :)

(pen and ink on thick board, roughly 20"x 14,5" - unsigned, but bearing the artist's stamp on the back)

Congrats Davide! I have always favored Guido Crepax's Pop Art phase above all! And with Valentina already coming up as the ultimate feminine archetype, you really can't go wrong!

Intramontabile Crepax sara' sempre nei nostri cuori, adoro particolarmente il suo primo periodo stilizzato optical e questo ne e' un ottimo esempio, poi successivamente trasformo' il suo tratto in un segno piu' barocco e pieno di dettagli. Grande pezzo.
