Update 7/22 - Took this page to a local con where Harris and Von Grawbadger were and Tony absolutely gushed over this page and recited the entire storyline, verbatim, to his wife sitting next to him! He said the last panel of this page was his favorite panel that he drew for the entire series so what was already a very special page to me is that much more so.

I've now very fortunate to now own a second page from one of the greatest series of my childhood! I saw this heart-wrenching page pop-up from a fellow collector and he was very generous working within my budget to get this to me.

Interesting to note that the graphic border is a sticker which makes sense because the entire issue has the same border. The word balloons are also stickers, not paste-ons, and with three other artists besides the usual Harris/Von Grawbadger working on pencils and inks in this issue, (JH Williams, Mick Gray and Gary Erskine), I wonder if the issue was just running behind and this was the fastest way to get it out on time.

The black and white pencils and inks are so much stronger than the final product. Would love to see an Artist's Edition featuring Harris' original art from this series.

Man... this page just made me tear up. I love this series so much. The border art is gorgeous! Congrats on picking up such a beautiful piece.
