DescriptionThird installment of Joe Fixit Hulk in Las Vegas commissions and I feel the strong pull to start a new theme. It's the collector gene coming out I suppose. I don't know if/when I will continue this theme but I am trying not to dive down another rabbit hole. I guess I will wait until the right artist comes along for this concept to continue. I have included a picture of all three commissions - it looks like it could be a story unfolding as the pieces have some consistency in them. I picked this up from Ken over at 4C - great commission experience all around.NOTE: the other commissions are in my gallery - artists are Tone Rodriguez and Steve Geiger Social/Sharing |

This is FANTASTIC (or should I say, incredible). Love all the showgirls.

My response as well Eric - loved seeing all of them. I think Larry had fun with this one (which is always the goal with a commission experience). Thanks!

Ah, Joe Fixit! I loved this storyline by Purves/Severin/David. Hulk working as a fixer for casinos? Perfect. I really like how he laid this out with the craps tables and a metric ton of showgirls. Great commission call(s)! Congrats

I should have known this was yours! Stroman knocked this out of the park!

Really love the tableau created here. Dice and chips flying everywhere...fishnet stockings galore. That showgirl hanging onto Fixit's suspenders is my favorite. Just fantastic.

very very cool! I think the first Hulk I read after starting to collect was 340, and then I initially did not like the switch to the Fixit/Purves era. coming back to it a few years later and filling in that era, I absolutely loved it.
I had Ben Harvey do a cool Mr. Fixit piece if you want to check it out.
Now, if I could just get Larry to send me the Hulk piece I paid for a year+ ago...

Thanks! Purves was a bit of an acquired taste for me as well, which many artists would have likely been considering trying to follow McFarlane's incredible Hulk run. Good luck with your Stroman - I would reach out to Ken Carson at 4C comics if you haven't already.

This should be a cover to a "lost" tale of Mr. Fixit that Marvel should hire Larry to draw.
