DescriptionSOLD*Commissioned for the Ice Age MTG set 1993. SUICIDE STAFF:The concept very disturbing. The player would have the ability to cause themselves damage. Is it possible MTG had second thoughts that kids might emulate the card powers in real life? In any event Phil Foglio as you know is excellent. This was a wicked piece of art created with colored pencils on black mat. Also see the signed letter from Phil in my additional images. He has great insight for this card. Social/Sharing |

The credit on this one goes to my brother Chris (rest in peace brother). He bought this maybe 2005-2006 directly from Phil. This came with 5-6 MTG cards signed by Phil along with the art, letter and a signed poster. Chris had a great MTG card collection and actually bought this because I was trying to convert him from comics and cards to original art.

Quite the explanatory note! It brings a lot more meaning to the image and I'm sure adds to an already personal piece. Sorry to hear about your brother. It's nice that you guys were trying to get even closer. Brothers...
