Description

Jessica Drew confronts Jessica Jones about the whereabouts of Jones’ child.

Alias #1 was a shock to the system when it debuted in late 2001 (I cannot believe that it’s been almost 20 years). I think that was the first time I saw Michael Gaydos’ art, which I’ve admired from that first issue to this day. Jessica Jones doesn’t seem quite right whenever anyone other than Gaydos draws her.

Bendis was back too and this was after season one of the show when popularity was at an all time high. Street level Marvel art, but still Gaydos gave them such personality as told through the body language and heavy lines that weighed on them.

Great art having both Jessicas on one page. I'm sure you know that the original intention was to have Jessica Drew as the lead role.

Fabulous faces and figures on this great page! I really enjoyed this (comic book) series when it came out. Way ahead of its time
