DescriptionI miss have Spider-Man 2099 in our regular Marvel Universe.I really enjoyed reading vol 2 (2014-2015) and then vol 3 (2015-2017) which introduced his new high-tech white & red suit, which is featured here on this variant cover by the talented Trevor Van Eeden. Here's hoping we haven't seen the last of Spider-Man 2099!! Social/Sharing |

Looks so cool, like they lifted the idea for Into the Spider-verse trailers.

Wow, I love the cover for it's design sense, but the coolest thing is that Trevor Von Eeden drew it! I don't recall him ever drawing for Marvel before!

I'm offended that they messed with the perfect Spidey suit

I did not know they delved back into Spidey 2099. I'm going to have to pick up some back issues...I dig the pencils here, but I especially like the inks. The way Von Eeden used background inks to give nice depth but also great contrast to the central figure. He left a lot of inks off of Spidey and really pumped them in the sky background for a great contrast. And the way he blacked out the roofs to increase the contrast, and even help motion, imo. Very cool cover. Congrats!

I thought this costume (Kris Anka design) was pretty cool! Big departure, but I think that's a good thing. Great rendition here with the falling pose and I love the depth the perspective choice brings! Congrats, Paul!
