Description
Gorgeous pencil page by Bennett, showing his mastery of facial expressions. Some great emoting by a jubilant Amadeus Cho as Hulk, a conflicted Banner who is now bereft of his Hulk persona, and a shocked Samson. Bennett's storytelling chops on full display in this quiet yet powerful page.

Bennett's pencils are so tight - the story in the facial expressions alone make this a great page.

Agreed, Eric. Bennett's pencils are super detailed - his work has matured immensely over the years, to the point of mastery in my opinion. There are few who can match or better him for facial expression - and boy oh boy, when he gets his Action or Gruesome on, he's in a league of his own...

Agreed, his action is so dynamic and fluid. I love his compositions as well, he makes the background and environment a character themselves. I've been lucky enough to commission Joe twice, (and Jade Giant has been so great to work with) and he has blown my expectations away.

Just checked your Bennett Spidey commission, and it is a real stunner!! Great choice of classic villains too. Love Bennett's work, he's one of the very best things to happen in comics visually for a long time. And you're right about Jade Giant - Dave is a real aficianado and a pleasure to deal with!

If you like that one, I'd check Joe's IG - he posted the pencils for the second commission and it's Spidey against a full Sinister Six. It blew me away when I saw it. Can't wait to see it in person!
