Description

Issue 263 Page 13. Great action page with Superman in every panel, Batman in two and the money shot of Superman Whomping his son. I'm a sucker for the sound effects in comics!
Synopsis from the DC Database: Superman, Jr. and Batman, Jr. discover that their whole existence is a lie and they are actually only computer simulations created on Superman's Super-Computer in his Fortress of Solitude. The Super-Sons find a way out of the computer system via the Fortress' disintegration pit into the real world, where radiations from their bodies cause chaos and destruction, as well as beginning to endanger the entire planet. Superman and Batman are forced to confront the young and confused computer simulations and take them back to the Fortress of Solitude, where the Super-Sons are forced into the disintegration pit from where they came in order to save Earth. Although this is the best course of action, Superman and Batman are truly sad for having to destroy their own creations. Big thank you to Metropolis Comics and Mika.

Everyone saw when Buckler did his Adams for these issues with inks by Giordano.  They weren't quite Adams, but it brought a sense of excitement that had not been in the title for a while.  These have expressive faces and graceful action with plenty of background details to satisfy 70's DC fans!
