Description

Honed by years in the field, Gil Kane's titular hero's instincts tell him not to take the front door. Turning from hunted into hunter, Savage instead slips up the front of the building and surprises a group of hired thugs sent to kill him.

I so enjoy Gil Kane's violent, code challenging, film noir Savage!

I'm absolutely on the hunt for page 1 to complete this little 4-page romp, and certainty would love to complete the set with the Anything Goes! #1 cover as well!

Best not get on his wrong side. Brutal. Levely changes of angles here again from Kane, and a nice page to have.

Silent storytelling by one of the best layout artists of his day. Everything an action sequence should have. Kane wasn't messing around in 1986, as TDKR was bringing more mature audiences to hard hitting realism.
