I’m really thrilled to own a life drawing from one of my favorite mid century illustrators. This was an insanely cheap pick up from eBay a while ago but I was unsure if it was something I should add to my CAF gallery but frankly he inspired so many of my favorite comic artists like John Paul Leon and Sean Phillips that it seems like it belongs. I was bidding against Hester on some of these so I’m lucky he let one go to grace my collection 😄

Fits great on CAF! Post more illustration art. Ha ha. Fawcett was of the Famous Artist School and influenced a ton of artists. Congrats on this fun pick up!

Yeah these mid century aritsts influenced so many comic creators (Michael lark is another one who loves Fawcett), their art should be up here! Fawcett's live drawings espeically with the red pencil have so much charm and are so direct. Great add, this was one of the better ones that were on ebay recently.
