I'm very happy to add this rare two page story to my collection. Larger than twice up, Jeff's brush work is quite amazing and peerless. Previously in a 30+ year collection and was bought directly from Jeff. I don't know of any other two page Idyl stories. Published in National Lampoon and also in several Idyl compilations. I love Jeff's imaginative and brilliant layouts and execution.

This is wonderful to look at and the Zen (by way of National Lampoon) nature of the strip gives it a timeless feeling. If I overthink it, I might even say that the openness of the concept could make it seem more relevant now in the Age of Covid than it was in the 70s.
