The Rucka and Lieber connection made a compelling storyline that made snow and how unforgiving it is, as a character on its own. The screen tone and the white splatter work well to provide hints at how strong the snow blizzard is.
I haven't read Whiteout for some time but I remember how much I enjoyed it when it came out. Your piece does seem to capture the essense of the character and the location. Congrats.
