Giacinto Gaudenzi - Wild banquet in Ancient Rome

Beautiful work by this Italian master, which was published as page 7 of the short story "Il ragazzo del Nilo" (The boy from the Nile), the first in a series of tales set in Ancient Rome, titled "All'ombra delle aquile" (In the Shadow of the Eagles). This series was originally published in the Italian magazine "L'Eternauta" (1983-1984), then collected in a beautiful book released in 1986.
Here we see the main character of the story, who came in Rome in search of his missing sister, working as a valet at a patrician villa, where he discovers she has become a prostitute.

Great inks, nice details and some Corben's influence here and there (I'm thinking especially of "Rowlf") : just look at those faces and expressions!
