DescriptionAbsolutely loved this when my bud shared it with me the first time and even more so now that he gave me the chance to pick it up. Looking at my collection, I'm clearly a huge Chris Stevens fan and he never ceases to amaze. The sheer energy and power in this piece leaps off the page and the minute details can only be admired in person (but these close-ups help!). Thanks again JB!Social/Sharing |

This is crazy good. And thanks for providing a close up of that big hand. You must know about my hand fetish. LOL

This is marvelous! So crisp and clean with amazing colors. Love the starburst effects of the bullets hitting the ground and the Hulk. By the way, whoever's shooting at him...um, I'd stop now. You're just making him angry.

I'm not sure if there's an iteration of Hulk I viscerally enjoyed more than Mr Fixit. Mobster Hulk was just a chefs kiss perfect idea. And Stevens perfectly captured him "Fixing." Which sure resembles his Smashing. He even worked in a Massive Flex. I can see why you loved this piece, because it's awesome. Congrats!

Holy mazola, T - this is an incredible MONSTER of a piece - absolutely stunning. I'm embarassingly late to the party as far as being introduced to Chris's work, but I'm really grateful for the chance to soak this one in! The colors are superb - SO intense, and fit the piece perfectly - but as incredible as they are, they never overshadow the linework or composition of the piece. Amazing work. The viewer's focus remains on the WHOLE piece and falls into the WHOLE experience of viewing it, not just the color; not just the linework, etc. Wow. What is the size of this piece? Beautiful!

Thanks Jason! I was definitely fortunate enough to get some of Chris's early work but it's evolved and gotten even more incredible to date so never too late! This piece is roughly 11x17, thanks again for the kind words!

I loved it when the grey Hulk went into hiding and disguised himself as Joe Fixit to avoid attention. The whole storyline of the Hulk trying to fit into everyday life in Los Vegas was a total delight to me and thousands of other readers. That's why I was thrilled to discover this Joe Fixit painting by Chris Stevens in your gallery. Stevens is always amazing at bringing Comic Book characters to life with his wall-sized paintings. But I thought he did a particularly terrific job with Joe Fixit. I love seeing him lose his temper and smash his fist into whatever's around. I like that he loses his hat and half his disguise so easily. What a fabulous piece to add to your spectacular collection!

Thanks Bill! Fixit is certainly one of my favorite Hulk personas and I don't think I need to reiterate how big a Chris Stevens fan I am. Finally got to meet him in person at this year's HeroesCon and he's as pleasant as he is talented!

You have so many great Stevens Hulk pieces, but this might be my favorite.
