X-MEN The Animated Series - Colossus

COLOSSUS In full form, rough and ready for action!

A character that was only briefly used in the series but every time he made an appearance he stole the show. I was alway hoping he would permanently join the cast of characters.

Loving this cel as it’s a great example of Piotr “Peter” Nikolayevich Rasputin in his metallic skinned colossal form, code name known as Colossus. He is a proud and lovable Russian, super stoic and nearly indestructible, but also a sensitive artist wanting to provide and protect his family.

This cel captures his stoic side beautifully from the animated series, X-MEN, which DISNEY just recently announced a revival coming out in 2023. Maybe he will be featured a lot more.
