DescriptionI really liked this piece from Jimbo when I saw it for the first time a few months ago. The black and white crisp lines against the hand drawn stark red letters has a very graphic look. When I saw this in the ComicLink show, I made sure to pick it up.In person, the line quality and details are even more incredible. The crosshatching, the items coming from Peter's backpack, and the way that the folds of Spidey's costume are rendered. It's a real treat to see in person. Social/Sharing |

Awesome design spidey sense placing the red on the lettering instead of the costume! More emphasis is placed on the action pose this way to act like negative space for the colors we see in our mind.

FANTASTIC pickup, Eric! Effortlessly done by Jimbo - love the manic yet somehow relaxed feel of this piece!

Wow! What a cool pinup! Love Salgado's rendering of Spider-Man, it has the feeling of the early Spider-man books, back when Peter Parker sewed his own costume and there were no Tony Stark modifications. It's terrific!

The Spider-Man figure is great but the background text in red is what makes this piece so outstanding. More artists should incorporate text into their artworks. Congratulations!
