Nothing is better than the value of silver age Archie than one with a story about cake! The cake immediately allows Betty, Veronica, and Jughead to just be themselves and show their personality traits. Their characters have been refined enough through the years that there is a simplicity and natural rapport when an object of precious value is thrown into the dynamic.
