Elegantly illustrated! It gives the cavemen their raw and natural look where they have a feast of the wild boar.
Even though this story only exhibits small hints of Bolton's familiar style, in some of the faces in particular, it's great to see him attempting to emulate Frazetta so early on in his career. Beautiful page, congrats.

Wonderful page! It's fun looking for Bolton's emerging style amidst all the borrowing (the top panels have that Frazetta/Krenkel vibe while the bottom panels in the cave have the heavy inks of an artist like Alcala). Cheers!
Congratulations Jonathan- it's a great page from one of the first strips that John ever drew- not that you can tell, he was always so talented.
