Outstanding composition, and scene setting, JUST with the characters! Next level coloring, too. Congras, man!
Ah the almost-always-worthwhile artist's choice. Love the color scheme and the framing device(s) in the foreground here. It's abundantly evident how much Matias enjoyed the subject matter here. Congrats!
Matias' commissions are always interesting to see and this one is truly beautiful.
Huge Congrats! Love seeing Mathias colors in his commission work, and he knocked yours out the park!
That is really terrific! I love evey square inch of this. Great brushstrokes, colors, composition (of course), poses, and faces
splendid
That's a great one, congrats.
Love the angle Matias chose to use here. The central image is beautifully framed by the three figures in the foreground. The colors are marvelous as well. The purple foreground allows the brighter crowd scene to pop. Gorgeous piece!
Such a stunning piece from the color to the composition!
He absolutely nailed it on this one - letting the artist go in the direction they want to always feels risky, but it certainly paid off here!
Wow!!! This is stunning!!! Congrats ML!!!
I love how he used color and tone to draw attention to the subject amongst that gaggle of (free) characters.
Absolutely stunning, M L. The incredible color choices here infuse the piece with the energetic bustle of life and activity, and Matias' staging and composition (with the outstretched arm and block and tackle) draw your eye to precisely where it needs to be ("Hey! There's someone looking straight at me!"). Such a great device, executed to perfection. Outstanding pick up, M L! Sincere congrats!
Ain't nobody looking at the "camera" but Corto. This piece is genius. Beautiful. Remedy that lack of Corto Maltese for sure. It's incredible comics. Pratt has a special magik with ink. Mindblowing (this piece, that comic)!
This is a fantastic piece. Bergara is so good.
Really cool piece. I had Matias do a Corto piece for me a few years ago and it is still a favorite. From the discussions I had with him around that commission you could tell his love for Pratt and the source material.
Just wonderful. Congrats!
