Fun Fact: If you flip this cover upside-down, Spidey and Nightcrawler are right-side up and the animals are upside-down! It's almost like 2 covers in one! In fact, I double dare you to frame it upside-down! Show your moxie, Marcus!!

Nobody seemed to do the webbing on Spidey's costume quite like Rogers.  Wish we had gotten more Spidey from him.  A very cool cover!

The Year of the Tiger.  Happy Lunar New Year!  And of course Marcus has a cover for every occasion.  I was shopping around for a nice Tigra piece, but couldn't find one in time.  Good health and prosperity to all for the new year!

Love how playful this is. The dark inks for the heroes and the thinner lines on the background and animals makes this on stand out! Huge Congrats!!

Big top shows combined for a complete adventure! Gleaming and glittering with Spidey in red and blue, and wondrous surprises for young and old! In a world full of elephants and tigers entertaining the masses, have you ever seen an X-Man performing in a circus? Despair is the constant companion of the clown. It’s showtime, anytime!

Fantastic detail on this cover by Rogers. You can distinguish all of the different textures in every figure in the drawing. Great piece!

So many fun stories in these team up and side quest books. Never gave much thought to how similar Spider-man and Nightcrawler move. Great cover!

Classic stuff, Marcus!  Rogers starting off the '90s right!  Some meticulous lines throughout, and I always loved how tight and exact he did Spidey's costume webbing.  Congrats!

There is just so much to love about this image, but my favorite thing is that Spidey is shooting a single strand of webbing at Nightcrawler while they are both upside down.  I don't know why, but it tickles me.  Congrats on a fun-tastic cover!

Such a charming cover--love that they added Nightcrawler to the corner box!

To be perfectly honest, I always found/lamented that Rogers' art became a bit stiff after his legendary Batman stint. And I remember being disappointed by his two Spidey issues because of that. That being said, this is a super fun & beautiful cover with two characters whose agile traits make for a perfect and obvious pair.

With as many comments as Marcus has left on my covers, I figured I would start reciprocating the love. And what a killer cover! The details are amazing, and I particularly love the animals on the cover. So much eye candy here to absorb. Great great piece!

BEAUTIFUL cover, Marcus!  Whenever I see Spidey in the circus, my mind immediately goes to Amazing Soider-Man #16, but if we can't have Daredevil, Nightcrawler is an even a better fit, thematically.  Gorgeous details and textures infused into this by Mr. Rogers here; really outstanding work.  Another beautiful post, Marcus!  Happy New Year!

Wow! Awesome Marshall Rogers cover for Marvel Tales! Rogers is often celebrated for his fabulous work on Detective Comics, but he also did amazing work on titles like Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and SIlver Surfer! This is wonderful cover with two of Marvel's best characters! Love the upside down heroes and the crazy circus animals behind them! Great pick-up!

If you told me Spidey and Nightcrawler were going to hang out with an elephant and some tigers and it's going to be amazing, I think I would have my doubts. But Rogers makes this one of the coolest covers I've seen in a while. Thanks for posting!

You know that circus music is piping through my brain pan as I look at this cover. There's a great echo! Somehow, I don't remember this cover, even though it's instantly one of my very favorites. This cover image will always make me smile. Nightcrawler swinging on a elephant trunk while Spidey flips off of a tiger is chefs kiss perfect. And the lines are gorgeous. Love this! Huge congrats!

I first diiscovered Marshall's work as a kid during his run on Silver Surfer.  He was such a fantasti artist and this cover is a great example of that.  Congrats!

Marshall Rogers is one of my all time favorites.   This is a great cover.   Glad you picked this up.   I would have loved a Rogers/Austin run on Spider-Man.   Look at the webbing in the costume,  amazing.   Love this and the animals.
