DescriptionThis is a Star Trek commission themed around the Far Beyond The Stars Episode. The episode is probably one of the most popular DS9 episodes. It takes place during the middle of the 20th century and focuses on racism, intolerance and corruption. I don't want to give too much away but that is why the characters all appear human. JK did an outstanding job. This was done on a massive 18x24 board.Social/Sharing |

JK Woodward does outstanding work. And it was refreshing requesting this commission because JK is a fan and really knew deep down what I wanted. Plus this was one of my favorite Star Trek episodes of all time.

Nobody does time travel styled stories like Star Trek and they pick pivotal periods in history to work through situations with reason and passion offering hope and inspiration that we can admit and learn the our past. A core theme in Star Trek is that an enlightened society must know the past in order to build a better future.

Indeed. This was one of the best reegarding addressing major issues in history. That and the episode called Past Tense (2 Parter) which by chance took place around present day. They weren't that far off regarding predicting todays climate.
