Description
I haven't read "Outsiders" or "The Outsiders" or "Batman
and the Outsiders", but this is a team that refuses to
die. In Volume 3, issue #50, the 7-foot, 230-pound Grace
Choi has had enough. Here, she's screaming at Batman, "You
killed the Outsiders!"

How little does she know. Outsiders series may come and go,
but DC will always put out another one. They're NEVER gonna
die.

This splash page is an homage to the famous "Justice League #5"
cover that shows an enraged Guy Gardner, also angry at Batman.
In both images, the Martian Manhunter is trying to hold his
teammate back.

11" x 17" on comic art board.

Sometimes a homage is really a swipe, but sometimes it is a great piece of art with a reference added. This is the latter. Congrats.

I prefer Grace over Guy any day!  Mathew Clark gives her defiant look plenty of detail in the facial expression and the hair.  A very cool update of a memorable cover.

I can't get enough of the homages to the classic Kevin Maguire cover, so this is right in my wheelhouse.  Matthew Clark did great work here!

Almost as good as a FATALE cover. Okay, just as good.
