Description
August 1968, Sub-Mariner #4, Page #14, John Buscema pencils/Frank Giacoia inks, "Who Strikes for Atlantis", Sub-Mariner vs: Attuma the Warlord!
This issue of Subby was one of the 1st back issues I ever bought back in 1972. A great story with incredible art by Big John, inked by my favorite inker, Frank Giacoia.

All time classic issue by the pitch perfect artist for Subby. Powerful as it gets in Marveldom. Bravo!

The passion you see on the Sub-Mariner is what you expect from the John Buscema and Frank Giacoia duo!  All the creative ways that are employed on the page work on a personal level that anyone can identify with!

Excellent example of a time when Buscema, in addition to mastery of anatomy, was able to convey a true sense of drama.  That has not always been the case throughout his career, IMHO

Brilliant action page! If "BKAK" isn't enough to make this a stellar page, the look of anguish on Namor's face in the last panel should do it. The expressions are superb, as you'd expect from Buscema, and the great Giacoia inks set it all off nicely.
