Mary Worth is an American classic. This Sunday is absolutely lovely. Great addition to your collection Ron. Congrats and thanks for sharing!
When I was growing up in the 80's, Mary Worth was one of my least favourite strips because as a teenager, my primary interest was in the humour strips and melodrama isn't something I had patience for. However, I might've become a Mary Worth superfan if only Monica Wayne had been around back then. Hubba hubba! What I like best about this particular Sunday, aside from the obvious Good Girl art featuring Monica in various states of undress, are the two historical references. I love that the film The Birth of a Nation is mentioned, given that it was already 30 years old at the time, and the fact that the writer purposely referred to it with the older terminology and emphasized "moving picture", is what I love best! A really fun example, Ron.
This is scandalous!
Oh dear, my heart is a flutter. If they put the silhouette panel further down, the moderators would have had to step in.
Fantastic piece of art. Although not a favorite of mine, there are stand out examples like this one that make me re-evaluate that assumption.
Historic piece. Reminds me a bit of "The Best Years of Our Lives," with a little cheesecake added.
