DescriptionGoofy debuted in animated cartoons, starting in May 1932 with "Mickey's Revue" as Dippy Dawg, who is older than Goofy would come to be. Later the same year, he was re-imagined as a younger character, now called Goofy, in the short "The Whoopee Party".He turns 90 in 2022!!! Here's a fantastic pencil illustration by Stefano Intini with the famous and beloved trio, Mickey Goofy and Donald! We don't see them together very often in the comic books (at least in the Italian stories where they usually keep ducks and mice separated), but when it happens it's usually special. Huge thanks to Stefano! Paper size; 21 x 28.5 cm Social/Sharing |

I like that they are in a compact image all interacting with each other with expressive gestures and off model faces that give them a bit more personality than just assembling stock images.

Stefano has been drawing Disney characters for the Italian licensees since the end of the 80's, and he was a pupil of G.B. Carpi at the Disney Academy
his style was mainly influenced from Giorgio Cavazzano's but developed quickly into something that's definitely recognizable as Intini's... he has a deep knowledge of Disney, past and present, and keeps his style fresh and modern
I love his personal way of portraying the Disney characters, I always smile only by looking at them
also, I believe he's one of the very few Italian Disney artists that really gets Mickey Mouse's character right while in the Italian stories, most of the time, he's written and/or drawn in a way that could make him a little bit of annoying
