DescriptionA fun offering during the Spring 2022 Comic Art LIVE was a sketch opportunity whereby Bill Cox offered 48 slots to fans, with each slot being randomly assigned to one of the participating artists to complete the sketch. If the piece that I received is any indication, then the participating fans should be very happy. I received this Black Cat piece by Jim Jimenez, a member of Jiggy Cruz's team over at Next Comic Art. I had the added good fortune of getting to see this artwork created during the Sketch Night Panel that Bill hosted during Comic Art LIVE, which you can see below. Not only did Jim work on this piece during the panel, but you can see other amazing artists like Eranga Devasurendra, Elmer Damaso and Manix Abrera utilizing their talents in the video.My thanks to Jim, Bill and Jiggy for making this happen! Wow! Safe to say you scored on this one. This must have been a fun experience from start to finish with the random slots, and then ending up with this. What a great score. Congrats!

Face it Tiger, you hit the jackpot with this commission! (Okay, that's an MJ line, not a Black Cat line, but it's very appropriate). You really got a beauty here. Totally frameworthy. And so cool that you got to watch it being created! Major congrats!

Great CALive pick up, Michael! So cool to see how artists push it when in the company of other great artists! :) A total winner here (congrats on scoring a sketch!); a real treat to see Felicia involved in a bit more "flashbang" than sneaky stealthy shadowy this time around. :) Congrats again, Michael!

Jackpot! I always look at commissions as gambling, and even though I've had some disappointments, I still can't resist rolling the dice. You doubled down with randomly assigned artist! Must feel good to win this one. Great piece.
