That's not even the right words, but you get my point.

First of all, I have to say that words can not describe how great it was to meet and speak to everyone this weekend! I had an absolute blast and am still thinking about so many great (and hilarious) moments! I had the sincere pleasure of meeting Cam from Inky Knuckles, and picking up this beauty directly from him at the booth.

This is my latest commission from Matt Allison and I decided to go the cover recreation route this time. It's something that I rarely do, but have found it to be quite rewarding with Matt (ref. ASM#316 recreation). I am a huge fan of Sam Kieth's Blood Hungry story and this cover struck a chord with me. MCP #86 is the first appearance of Cyber and I felt like Matt would do a great job with this up close action scene, even though there are so many other standout covers from this arc. It's safe to say that the Master of the Micron has delivered again.

The overall detail here is wonderful. There are some signature Cankor texture elements here, but you really just see the time that goes into each and every section of the drawing. I can't get enough of that kind of work ethic. The hand lettering of the title is beautiful. He is so good at using negative space to create some really unique effects and that completely applies to the lettering this time around. The curls on the outfit send it over the top for me though. I feel like he effectively captured Sam Kieth's style while also adding some of his own elements. To be honest, that's what I really wanted, and I got it.

I'm a happy Cankor boy. Big thanks to Cam and Matt for another wonderful piece! Appreciate you guys.

Although he did a straight recreation, I'm glad to see that he did it in his own style, which is wonderful looking, rather than try to imitate Keith's line. Really nicely done. Congrats, Tyler!

I love how this oozes Kieth and Allison simultaneously. An exceptional recreation - great choice of topic and artist. It was fantastic getting to meet at Heroes and I look forward to seeing you again!

Stunning recreation by Matt Allison! Even though he pretty much stuck to the look of Sam Kieth's cover, he also gave it a touch that's pure Matt Allison. Congrats!

Kieth is a tough act to follow, but as much as I admire the original, this Allison homage might have surpassed the source material IMHO!  And it's clearly Allison --- I did a double take when I saw the postage stamp thumbnail on my CAF search results 'cause it looked like Allison even shrunk down.  You've got the best Allison collection on CAF!

Oh man, it really shows how talented Matt is. He is at the very least going to make you look at something like this in a different light. Thank you A Squared! I am beyond humbled to hear that. Although there are some other major Cankor heads on here that I gotta mention -David Blumer, George Hage, Yo Kuri. All wild animals when you get right down to it :)
