DescriptionThis is just one hell of a page.A full page splash featuring Captain Marvel on the front page of the Daily Bugle, complete with editorial by JJJ, and my morning cup of coffee? Drawn by Lee Weeks? And signed by some guy named Stan Lee? There was no way this wasn't ending up on my wall. The overlay I made covers up the sig. Sorry, Stan. Social/Sharing |

I wanted this one but completely forgot to bid on it so I am glad to see it went to you. That Stan signature is unfortunate but still a great page.

Well I'm glad you forgot to bid! And while I plan on covering it with an overlay, I don't mind the Stan sig too much – it's the only one I have.

It looks cool the way it is like JJJ was in the office still putting together the next edition of the Bugle. The Stan Lee sig is the JJJ final editorial approval.

Fantastic page! Lee Weeks is a modern master! I like the overlay but I think I appreciate the pencil work by Lee even more as he added just enough to provide the visual cues that are needed here. Congrats!!!

Stupendous Captain Marvel splash by Lee Weeks! Love the full figure drawing of Captain Marvel--He looks so strong and powerful! The little inset portrait of JJJ is fantastic--He looks like he's wincing from the coffee splatter! I love that Weeks added the coffee cup to the layout! Also, I like the overlay you made showing the newspaper masthead and copy--It makes the whole layout come to life!
