RIP Tom Palmer

Ahhh man, we lost another great! 

So sad, such a great tallent!

Thats terrible news. Tom Palmer, gone. Genuinely, one of the greats. Added class to any project he worked on.

Elevated every thing he worked on and made the greats even greater to reach wells of emotion within the audience that maybe they never thought possible. 

Thanks for your posting, Rich. I have been a fan of Tom's for a long time and was fortunate to meet him at a convention a few years ago. He was a terrific guy and an exceptional inker.

Was working on my own post for Tom when I saw yours.  

In an industry (and hobby) where all the talk is usually about the penciller, Tom Palmer's work and career absolutely demanded to be part of the conversation.  There are probably less than a handful of inkers whose artistic contributions matter as much as any penciller.  Sinnott, of course.  Giordano and Austin, certainly.  Janson, probably.  It's a short list, but Palmer cemented his spot on it a long time ago.

So glad you got to know him and develop that personal connection.  And thanks for posting this wonderful tribute.

All of the greats are leaving us and it sucks. To me, Tom Palmer was Neal Adam's best inker ever. RIP Tom.

Great honoring post for such a fabulous inker.

His perfect inking over Colan on ToD or Buscema on Avengers remain favourites to this day.
