That panel with the Science Police Officer's line of dialogue was THE BEST IN THE WHOLE ANNUAL !!
This was the first Legion issue I ever bought. The clean, distinct lines were different than the Marvel books I was reading, but conveyed no less action. Your page is a great example of what hooked me on the book. Thank you for sharing this excellent page.
I really dig the art. Patterson's inks complimented Giffen's style nicely in this era. The last panel is classic!
