Having had "the" Adams X-men poster on my wall as a kid I totally agree with you that this is a grail piece for sure! Major congrats my friend and I can only imagine how great it was to do dinner and pick this giant piece up in person. Worthy of all the FedEx boxes (and a nice frame)!

Wish I had gotten to see this before you left town, but I'm glad both you and the piece made it home safe and sound. I loved the story of how you've been staring at this every day since you got home. I had my AA New FF piece propped up at the foot of my bed for about a month so it would be the first thing I saw when I woke up. Anyway, enjoy this truly epic acquisition and congratulations again.
I think CAF has found its best cover of 2022. Anybody else thinking of going for that trophy should wait until January before posting.

I might rib you a bit over this one, but there's no denying that this is an incredible piece of work by Adams!
Looks like it took him at least 6 months to complete this piece as the first in person look of the work in progress was in February 2022 at the East Bay Comic Con.
