DescriptionI saw a few Mythos pages pop up recently and was really impressed by the graphic elements combined with the painterly parts of Rivera's technique. This one fit the bill- those crazy light lines in the bottom panel and the atmosphere and compositions in the top 3. Hulk jump and Smash! enjoy.Social/Sharing |

The tiny hints of Hulk adds to the chaos of this perspective. The horror and fear is palpable - absolute work of art!

Your absolutely right, the little hints are what really make this page. It's the unseen horror in your mind that fills in the blanks .

Gorgeous art by the incredible Paolo RIvera! I agree that the subtle way the Hulk is introduced into the scene makes it even more horrifying. You can just imagine the shock and surprise that the helicopter pilot must have felt! Brilliant work, IMHO.

Agreed and also the speed he appears to move from panel 1-3 is terrifying for sure. He is a monster after all! Glad you enjoy that aspect of the page too.

Great page! TBH I'm usually torn about painted comics but you're right about graphic elements being added to the mix makes it quite a bit more interesting. I love the 3 panel sequence at the top, really beautiful storytelling that gives you a glimpse of how terrifying an encounter with the Hulk would be.
