Description

I have been looking for a Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez example for many years and finally have found the "right" one in this exquisitely rendered page from Deadman # 1. Garcia-Lopez is a true "artist's favorite" artist and virtually every artist I know refers to him as a "master" of the comics medium.

This page is a terrific example of not only Garcia-Lopez's wonderful storytelling, but also of his beautiful and lush inking. I am honored to be the caretaker of this gem!

Great page with lots of Deadman and Rama Kushna !!! JLGL certainly graced us with some great art in the Deadman mini-series.

Wow, that is a truly beautiful page--maybe the best JGL panel page I've seen from Deadman. That upper right panel--wow!!! A master at work.

Stunning addition to your collection, Jim. And, I am in agreement that Jose is indeed, "The Maestro" as Bob Layton has frequently called him. One of my favorite artists and no one outside Neal Adams left his mark on Deadman like Jose did with the art in this book. Congrats!
