The HELP MEEE insert is a representation of myself on Monday mornings
Just one of the many ways Dr. Druid is more relatable to readers than characters like Thor or Devil Dinosaur.
Swipe Left. :P
Great page. Dr. Druid was a tough dude. I hope to see him in the MCU. That would be fun
In the auction you go biddin' for Hall art ink Win Mortimer
And you fire magic spells in, but they doubt you as Avenger
And Ravonna you are dating, as she please you one to three
But the Kang man got you simpin' and they mock you on the street
You go match, Doc, Druid again, he’s swipin' right around
You go back, Doc, Druid again
Dr. Druid bills himself as the Steely Dan of the mystic arts. I don't know what he means.
This is a fun page indeed. Lots of crazy things happening on a page, a good exercise to try and describe what's going on to someone who doesn't follow comics, they might check you into a clinic.
Fun page. It almost looks like a storyboard.
Hahaha, excellent and very funny description. A very astute point about how the existence of dating apps would have changed so much back then. Well, I'm sold! Dr. Druid puts the so-called "big three" to shame.
People doubt the worthiness of Dr. Druid's membership in the Avengers? How can anyone speak such nonsense? Not only is he "worthy", he's arguably the second most popular Avenger of all time, surpassed only by the great Gilgamesh the Forgotten One!
I hope you're sitting down for this - people were also cracking jokes about the Forgotten One's "forgotten membership" in the Avengers. I think it's just jealousy of the greats.
I'm a charter member of the Dr. Druid fan club; he was definitely a worthy Avenger. I mean this is an organization that thought it was a good idea to offer membership to Stingray and 3D-Man. This is a nice, dramatic page to add to your wonderful collection.
These are fun pages!
Whut the WHAT? How did I miss this?! Congrats, dude! Dr. Druid(s) for the win!!
Wow - that's an... intense panel layout. Thank goodness editorial was there to weigh in on the things that really matter, though, with their blue pencil note about necklines in that last panel (it's pretty impressive that they'd be able to pick that detail out on the page...). What a fun hootenanny of a page, Michael! For Justice! For Vindication! And, failing that... For Vengeance!! Congrats! :)
