James will regret selling this when it's worth $50,000 when the tv series airs
Cha-ching!!!! Lol :)
Lol nope. I was waiting for a worthy Chew fan to offer the piece to that enjoys it as much as I do! It's in a great gallery now!
It sincerely is the truth. You know I really appreciate it too.
Congrats on landing a page from issue #1! It's amazing to look back at Rob's art from the first issue and see how it evolved over the years to what it is now.
Thank you!! An excellent point, it really has changed and even through the Chew series.
Congrats on a page from Chew issue 1! This book also got me back into comics. I heard about it from a blog, read the first 3 trades bought 16 from a local shop, ended up subbing to the book and jumped into the New 52 books when those came out and the rest is history.
Agree with Kin on how the art is quite a bit different early as it got more comical as it went, Chew is not only one of the best Image books to come out recently but one of the best comics period.
Bought old art of mine, been broke a thousand times
Each time I get a page, Guillory goin' to stay
Gory sights that come, memories that go
Chewin' you back again, haunting me more and more
Maybe it's my mistake to show to James what I feel inside
'Cause each page that passes by
You got me never knowing if I'm buying or trading 'cause
I love Chew, yes I Chu (this old art)
I love Chew, yes for Chu (this I do, weep for me)
Always a great thing when you can land a page with important personal meaning. Big congrats!
Sweet! Great page from issue 1! Definitely takes me back to that initial read. Congrats, T!
