Unknown artist - Most early UTOPIA covers were created by Johnny Bruck and Karl Stephan. There is no clear documentation of the cover artist for the first 43 novels, however, from a style perspective, the cover artist could also be Rolf Wansart (1919-1996).

»Strafkolonie Mond« (Detention Colony Moon) was the first episode of the UTOPIA series. 'Utopia Zukunftsroman' was the first German Science-Fiction pulp series and was published from 1953 to 1968 in 596 episodes by the publishing company Erich Pabel in Rastatt. It was one of the most popular SF series in Germany in 1950-70 next to TERRA and PERRY RHODAN.

Original cover artworks from the first UTOPIA episodes from 1953 are extremely rare finds.
