Description

From the late series half-episode "Something's Going Around," here's a great cel of Janine getting troubled with a blanket while trying to cook up some soup.

According to animation collector and historian James Eatock, this episode was animated by the famous Tokyo Movie Shinsha studio!

This is a hand-painted painted acetate cel alongside the original line drawing. Also included is a screencap of the cel in its final form taken from the TimeLife DVD set.

I am fortunate to own four cels from this particular sequence!

Very fun piece as it gives a lot of insight how well thought out the process was to manufacture and craft these sequences with static foreground and backgrounds plus probably another animated layer just for what's in the soup!
