DescriptionA Bruce McCorkindale re-creation of Neal Adams' "Flash Gordon Meets The Warrior" page 2 as originally published in Heritage 1b - featuring Flash Gordon meeting the attack of a Martian Banth with his sword! Mixed media on 13" x 20" Bristol board. Heritage was a pro-zine developed by Doug Murray and Richard Garrison devoted to Flash Gordon. It was published in two volumes, 1a and 1b. Heritage produced other projects as well. Neal originally conceived of this story himself and wrote it to be presented in Heritage entirely without words, which I thought was extremely original and effective.Social/Sharing |

Very nice! The black on black art with just the lighting outline is stunning for this killshot image.
