Description

This is an awesome litho art print, featuring one of the most classic images in the history of American comics, the very first episode of the legendary Flash Gordon newspaper comic strip by Alex Raymond. It is on quality smooth coated stock, which measures approximately 10 7/8" by 12 7/8", and is in very good condition, with just minor handling wear. At the bottom it states "Alex Raymond's first Flash Gordon Sunday page. January 7, 1934". I am unsure of the date of release of the print, but it may be 1974. It has brilliant colors, and features the meeting of Flash Gordon, Dr. Hans Zarkov, and Dale Arden, and the beginning of one of the most legendary stories in the history of science-fiction. Don't miss out on this great piece, which would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed.
