DescriptionNo Hulk November continues with Captain Marvel!I am a huge fan of Lee Weeks – as a person and an artist. I love his art but don’t have as much as I would like (that’s a not-so-subtle hint – let me know if you have anything for sale). I didn’t commission this piece but was more than willing to add to my collection when it became available. Wonderful Joe Rubinstein inks as well. Up next, more Iron Man Social/Sharing |

I can feel that strain. What a fantastic pose, and the details are perfect. Those simple lines emanating off the body really set off the moment, and I'll always love seeing Kirby Krackle. Excellent inks by Me Rubinstein, too. There's more of a story here, I wonder what Mr Weeks has in mind for the moment. Beautiful commission. He's on my list for next year. Cosmic

This has been a Lee Weeks year for me. I just can't get enough of his work. He makes each character his own from Hulk, Daredevil and this great Captain Marvel piece. Congrats!

Rubinstein's fingerprints are all over this one! Those trapezius muscles are working hard for Weeks and Captain Marvel!

Thanks Marcus! Agreed - Joe captured the energy emitting from the nega bands perfectly - I would love to see the one-minute-later for what happens next!

Weeks is the man! Such an organic style to his work and lines, and his stuff is just emotive. Nice accentuation here by Rubinstein. Feel like CM is really chargin' up here, gettin' ready to let loose! Congrats!

Man , can Weeks draw !
I met him years ago at the Mid Ohio show and didn't get on his list in time. I'm still kicking myself in the rear for that one. Can you imagine the Thor that he would have drawn ?
