Description
Published 2012 by Dynamite Entertainment.
In this series that spotlighted Dejah Thoris, the writers delve into the events on Mars years before John Carter arrived.

I believe that this is the only original art to the cover and that the rest was done in photoshop.

One, two Princess we'll fight for you
That's Edgar Burroughs
Princess, Princess we'll adorn you
By Paul Renaud now
One has Dynamite in comics
Pencil lead, now
This one said he wants to try Tars Tarkas
Ain't what he read, now

This one he writes the Tarzan sonnets
That's Edgar Burroughs
Got some big deal upon eugenics
Ain't got the know how
You marry him, your cover will condone you
How 'bout that now
You marry me, John Carter will disown you
He'll eat his hat, now

Marry him, marry me
I'm the one that read your comics can't you see?
Ain't got no Carter in reality
But I know what a princess cover ought to be
I know what a princess cover ought be

If this series delved into the events on Mars years before John Carter arrived, then I assume they cover the period when Mars was being ruled by Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders, correct? I'd read that!  A very lovely "come hither" cover, by the way.

Well, in this issue, a pale man from a vampiric race that is trying to conquer Barsoom falls in love with Dejah. His name was not Stardust but Andalust! 😀

Deja vu is is more like it as her beauty matched that of the big screen. Great seduction piece. Although, my eyes have already been stolen by another.
