DescriptionRIMA, THE JUNGLE GIRL # 5, DPS, NESTOR REDONDOI was finally able to merge the individual images into a larger one. I just added this gem to my collection, RIMA – THE JUNGLE GIRL # 5, Double page spread, pages 2 & 3. Superb good-girl art. Layouts by Joe Kubert, finishes and inks by the legendary Nestor Redondo. I could wax poetic for several thousand words regarding this acquisition, but I won’t because a picture is worth a thousand words – “Nuff said”. Social/Sharing |

While it might not be the focus of the page, I particularly appreciate the composition and delicate execution of the first panel. It conveys a wonderful sense of airiness.

While not the biggest name nor title, the beauty of the artwork has elevated the status of the Rima comics through the years as they have that magical timelessness every generation will recognize.
