Description

I did not even know about Fan Expo 2022 SF until I saw some of Marcus Wai's pics on CAF the day of. I originally went to check out Albert Moy's art, but had a walk around and was checking out all of the independent artists there. There were some really cool independent artists, and one that stuck out to me was Kirt Burdick. It just seemed kind of rare these days to find this kind of detail in comic art. I bought 3 of his comics, and I ended up contacting him after the show to see if he had any original art for sale. He has a modern mixed media approach to his artwork doing some detailed pencil layouts and then doing all the finishes on the computer. This panel is from the story Fae Archaic.

Beautiful art for the graphic novel Fae Archaic by Kirt Burdick. Kirt draws all his panels in pencil then finishes them on the computer. I have to say the pencils are exquisitely detailed and full of energy. I notice you have a number of them and they are each beautifully drawn and intricately detailed. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
