My favorite run of Hawkman - Tony Isabella & Richard Howell. Love how Isabella used the Gentleman Ghost - giving him some personality and really playing up his fondness for Hawkgirl as well as Hawkman's frustration with the "ghost."

Love how Howell portrayed the Hawks in this series - Hawkman's physicality is portrayed so well without him being the brute/Wolverine rip off that DC later pushed the character to.

Love the top hat of GG over the four corners of the panels! The weird predicament Hawkman finds himself in allows the lush ink line work to shine!
