Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - Jabba's Palace #1 Variant Cover

This one has been in the works for some time. Last year at NYCC I got to spend a little time chatting with Alex over some of the works I was picking up, watching him paint, and even airbrush right in artist alley (haven't seen that at a show before). Through chatting, he mentioned he had this great concept of a Boba piece he has been wanting to do and I mentioned to him to keep me in mind if it ever comes up.

A few weeks later his rep - the amazing Annabel Kirby gets in touch with me to say Alex got asked by Marvel to do a SW cover an it's the Boba piece we talked about. Both Annabel and Alex were awesome to deal with me on this and make it work so I could add it to my growing Maleev collection.

Fast forward to yesterday and the end of a killer couple weeks at work and I get back to my office after lunch, weary and waiting for the weekend to find a giant UPS package on my desk and inside I find this beauty. What a way to end the week and lift the spirits! Can't wait to get this in a frame and find just the right place for it on the wall!

Piece is a massive 15x22 and will be a Marvel variant for the book due our in March 2023.
