Would love to see a "one-minute later" version where the riders turn the tables and start kicking some monster tail! He just didn't know who he was messing with!

A giant monster attacking kids at an amusement park? What kid wouldn't  want to grab this comic off the rack to see what happens inside? But how much cooler would it have been if the editor had allowed the I Dream of Doom title to actually be a hint to a Doctor Doom cameo appearance at the end?! Look what you did, West, you got me all excited like a kid at the spinner rack!

Mission accomplished!

But for the Atlas monster comics of the 1950s, I doubt we'd have Marvel Comics today.  Monster comics are in Marvel's DNA, and this is a great example of why Marvel and monsters go so well together.

I've been quite the collector ever since art has been sold
And the Dead of Night ten carnival is worth its weight in gold
I've been quite alone since roller coaster went
I turned my monster tantrums into children crash victims

I used to get the fairest deals, I got the art to prove
I can't stand to see the fear revealed, dreamed up now I have doom
I used to run the carnival hell that's just monster’s ground
Never liked to see them ladies painted up and then chowed down

The only thing that keeps me from fearing here’s believing
The only thing that saves me from it all is Ron Wilson
Just see the Giacoia and things that he be inking
I had to pack it up and move along
And I'll tell you the boys I've got some carny fun

How could any kid resist pulling this book off the shelf?

Roller coasters make for great covers..add a giant monster and a lovely lady and 2hat more could you want. Congrats.

Oddly enough, this happens to me every time I get on a rollercoaster.  And I LOVE it !!  Haha.  Great cover, man!!
