I was thrilled to pick this up at Heritage a few years ago to add an outstanding Aparo Flash page to my collection. That large upper panel (almost half-splash) sold it for me. Love pages with Flash super-speed after-images and I think you'd have a difficult time finding another Aparo Flash page where this was done.

This comic was during my first few months of collecting but I don't have strong memories of this issue like I do of most of the surrounding ones. Given Flash is the guest-star and he's one of my top two favorite heroes, I've concluded that I must have missed this one on the comic racks (you have to be an older collector to understand how that could happen).

Peak 70's Aparo around this time period for this title! It's dynamic and so clean to bring interiors of DC books up to the excitement level of their covers!

Gorgeous artwork. Aparo has picked some great angles for this, and the pose of Flash in the middle tier is wonderful. I had to laugh at the note about missing this in the comic racks. In the UK, it was often more about whether the comic was even distributed in the UK, but much time would be spent poring over piles to make sure that an all-important consecutive issue hadn't been missed.
