DescriptionBob Layton's sci-fi take on the founding of Australia proved prohibitively expensive for Hollywood, so he retooled it into a web comic. Layton provided design and inking, while his longtime friend Dick Giordano penciled. This labor of love was interrupted for a time by the leukemia that made this Giordano's last project prior to his death. Not many pages in 2012 had the lettering right on the physical page, or had notations for the colorist. It's listed as 'Issue #2' on the header, and as 'Story Two' on the title splash page. As with 'Episode IV' of Star Wars, this is a narrative conceit; Story One has never been committed to paper. In this early part of the story, we are just meeting a group of prisoners exiled to this barren world. Social/Sharing |
